  • Awful.

Didn’t understand whole sections of this book. Goodness knows why it won awards. Now I know why I don’t read SF. Back to Fiction for me!

    Thanks for your feedback!

  • Wow!

First published in 1995, you'd expect the future to be nothing like that predicted. It's a little too accurate for comfort, really - very dark. As to the subject of the tale, well, it comes down to money and investment hasn't been a popular pastime. The first part of the book has a strong feel of Do Androids Dream... - knowingly, I think - but set in a London that feels like home. Complex connections weave the players in nets that are tangled from the start. The picture brightens through parts two and three, despite the losses.

    Thanks for your feedback!
