  • I promise you it won’t disappoint

Regnery never disappoints me. I think I have been hooked on her work since By Poxy! This book was everything and anything I could ever imagined. She kept the suspense real, and it could very well be a real life event. Her personalities with her characters are amazing! They are so well rounded, they have emotions, stability and really true to their words, and actions. No matter what bumps they have throughout her book, they always overcome it. Fitz – who knew Fitz had a heart of Gold? Daisy – still carrying raw emotions since that summer with Fitz. Fitz and Daisy still have their “magical” emotions, even after years later. Sometimes the heart just knows what it wants, and this was no exception. Years earlier they were too young to know how to speak about their emotions, and about their connection that blossomed between them. Fitz seems to know what he wants, but his lack of words never painted the picture to Daisy that he was always in love with her. When Daisy comes back with a message about her being engaged.. Is it too late for Fitz to save them? and to get back what is his? I truly loved this book, and I can’t wait to see what the other English Brothers are doing. I guess I need to play catch up! So go ahead, grab Falling For Fitz and fall in love with the characters like I did. I promise you it won’t disappoint, and your heart will melt just like mine. Katy, I can’t wait til I can stand in a bookstore and see your work glaring at me. It will be a beautiful day!- Jenna Disclosure: I received this book for free from the Author. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.

  • Sweet and sexy story

This second book in the English Brothers series treats us to the story of Fitz and Daisy. They had a summer romance that didn't end well, and have spent the last 9 years incommunicado at Daisy's insistence, a decision made in haste but one that Fitz has respected. Now she's moved back to Haverford and the feelings they have long buried come back to the surface. Can Daisy trust her heart to Fitz a second time? This book was a tender, sweet love story that I enjoyed very much. I'm a big fan of the reunited lovers trope in general and this book is definitely following that formula, but in it's own unique style. The start of the story takes one back to the joy of first love and the heartache that usually follows. I liked this flashback as it set the stage for the present time, and the meeting up again of two souls that were so in love. Fitz is well characterized as a handsome and caring man, willing to do anything for Daisy if she'll give him the chance to prove himself to her again. Daisy is fun and warmhearted, full of enthusiasm for her new business venture that has brought her back to this place. The feelings between them run deep, even though they've been hidden for so long. The sexual chemistry that existed as young adults still exists now and is evident from the first moment they lay eyes on each other again. There is a slow burn that heats up as the story progresses - it was refreshing that they didn't just jump into bed together again right away, but worked towards it in a more realistic manner. Fitz's courting of Daisy was sweet and genuine. The secondary characters are important to the development of the plot, revealing more of the other English brothers that will have their own future stories. There is a real sense of the setting of the story as well, a testament to the writing of Katy Regnery as she skillfully sets the stage for the reader. You can imagine the scenes quite easily. Moments of humor abound, making this a fun and lighthearted read. I can't wait to read more in this series! 5 stars!
