  • Fallout

Another great read from Lila Rose. This was definitely a change form previous books as it focused more on the relationship between Poppy and Jeremiah 'Fang' than it did on the MC but it was still really good. Due to an overheard conversation, hurt feelings and other factors, Poppy and Fang have had an up and down relationship. Friends since childhood which was developing into more before misunderstandings took place and Poppy left, she is now back in her hometown to help her mother who is sick, a father who is coping and a brother who is off the rails. We see the development of Poppy and Fang's relationship as adults and although this book is an easy read it did have moments of anguish relating to what Poppy has gone through in the past as well as what happens in the present. We also see Fang as the strong, dominant man who helps Poppy through this emotional time as well as his relationship with other members of the MC he is attached to. An easy read by far but also an enjoyable one.

  • Loved catching up with the Hawks again

I loved reading about the Hawks MC again. I had started to miss them. I loved being given flashbacks to Fang and Poppy as teenagers. It helped to understand who they are as adults. It also highlighted the special relationship they have with one another. Personally, I loved the little tease the author has done with Lan and Parker. Knowing this author, it is going to be steamy with a side of humour, and I can't wait.

  • Another fantastic read

We have been seeing Fang and Poppy pop up in previous where Miss Rose has been teasing us with their story. And she did not disappoint. Fang changed alliances from "Venom" to the Hawks hotties, after he lost Poppy from his life and his dad was finally given his marching orderd from Venom. Poppy ran from the boy she loved after he accidentally broke her heart but she did it protect him, when a family tradegy brings her home Fang is determined to win her back. I loved this installment, it showed that violence doesnt always have to exist between 2 clubs, it showed that people are wonderful until you screw them. Noone messes with the Hawks family it just takes some people longer to learn their lesson.

  • These two are so great together! Love this book!

This is book 6 in the Hawks MC: Caroline Springs Charter Series. It focuses on Jerimiah (Fang) and his childhood friend, Poppy. As teens, they both felt more, but it never went any further than friendship. Then they are torn apart by things beyond their control, and kept apart by miscommunication and stubbornness. This book is told in present tense, with flashbacks to the past, which really lends to the story. Jerimiah loved Poppy as a teen, but knew she was too young. As adults, he doesn't understand what happened to make Poppy stay away from him. But once he makes up his mind, Poppy doesn't have a chance of resisting! I loved this story for so many reasons. Not the least of which is that I love how great these two are together! Despite all of the obstacles in their way, they just make so much sense to me! I'm glad to finally see Jerimiah getting his HEA. As with all of the Hawks guys, he is awesome, and exactly what Poppy needs. This story is a stand alone, but ties closely with previous books. There are events from previous books that are mentioned and play heavily into the plot of this one. While you shouldn't have to read previous books to enjoy this one, I would recommend reading the series in order, to get the full effect of the Hawks MC!

  • Loved Fang and Poppy!!!

Lila Rose delivers again!!! As always, this book was fantastic! A friends to (eventually) lovers. Fang and Poppy, through many a twist and turn, found their Happily Ever After. I truly enjoyed taking the trip with them. Through tears and laughter, as is always the case with this author. I look forward, as always to the next book in this series. It sounds like it will be fantastic!!!
