    Chilling

Packed with suspense, Familiar Strangers was hard to put down. It was so twisty, it was kind of difficult to believe this was a debut novel. Becca adores her mom, is heartbroken at her early-onset Alzheimers, and then her mother, in a moment of lucidity, tells Becca, "I took you. You're not my daughter." Now, how was I supposed to stop reading after that announcement? There were enough twists and turns in the book that kept me turning page after page to get to the truth. Every time I had to put it down, I couldn't wait to get back to it. I really don't think you'll be disappointed with this thriller.

Ok read, but Becca was annoying

The story kept me interested and curious. But I found the main character, Becca, annoying once all the action started taking place. She was often indecisive with her plans and lacked many characteristics you would expect from a heroin. Some may disagree, but I was slightly disappointed. Still a good and easy read, but wouldn't be a top book I'd reccomend to friends.

    Familiar strangers

The links between the characters were difficult to understand initially. If you are into horror stories then this book gives you the chills with its macabre methods of revenge. Not the best piece of literature around and often gave conflicting descriptions of events and bordered on being either really stupid or hmmmm maybe.
