  • Excellent

Written with the same enthusiasm as the first and the same attention to detail that sometimes falters as a series progresses. I couldn't put it down much the dismay of my cats The Ragman and Emma May Hem.

The cats help Kathleen discover who may have stolen a priceless piece of art loaned to the Library to display as an attraction to get people in to view the work of local artists. The conversations with each cat slowly unravel the puzzling breakin and art theft, also the murder of the person who had responsibility for the display and safety of each piece. On the romantic note, Eddy wants to marry Roma—even sets up a romantic proposal—but she think the age gap between them is too great and she knows Eddy wants children, which is impossible for Roma. Time will tell if these two love birds get together as it appears romance is in the air; even Harrison senior has made it clear that he is not too old to be in a romantic mood.
