The story of Mary Mallon, an Irish immigrant who goes to New York in 1883. Known as Typhoid Mary because whenever she cooks she spreads typhoid and many people die. Found the book interesting and enjoyable at first but tired of it towards the end as I didn't find her to be a like able character
