  • It finally made sense

    I quit last year reading Allen Carr's Easy Way To Stop Smoking and quit for about a year... I fell into the trap a couple of times again. And I felt like appearantly this book did not work for me. I felt hopeless, this was the one thing that I though would help. I found this book and just hoped it would make me feel the same way again, as when I first quit. It's even better. I now realise I didn't fully grasp everything before. I was not where I thought I was yet... This book made it even more clear to me what smoking really is. Nothing more but a nicotine trap, nothing more but constantly trying to scratch an itch I put there in the first place. Absolutely nothing more than that. I am ready and so happy to let this itch die out now, and never having to scratch it again. I am aware I still associated smoking to so many other things, when there is nothing else to it. I believe before I didn't understand this very well, but just tried to remember those thoughts for a year. They weren't my own. I am happy now they are. This is a great book for women but also men who feel unhappy smoking and scared of the prospect of having to quit. You dont have to do anything, but I'm sure you will be happy to have read the book once you finish it. Allen Carr's Easyway is also a great book, but I think it is important with either one to really take the time and make sure you FULLY understand and let it sink in. Read it, you've got nothing to lose :).
