  • We ken

The idea is so obvious because we've all thought about it - even the guys. The preview unfolds at a good pace and draws you forward with succinct sentences and original imagery. I will be buying this.

  • Didn't quite live up to it's potential...

It didn't quite meet its full potential and has fewer than hoped plot comparisons to Outlander so much as it capitalizes on the Outlander fan frenzy by having a character obsessed with James Fraser in a fairly 2-dimensional way. I wish the author had spent less time on the Hamish storyline and more on the Findlay one...many predictable plot twists and turns, but it was entertaining and had some truly humorous moments. Ironically she chose a very flighty heroine who didn't really find her inner Claire, and her male characters remained largely 2-dimensional. In the end, this was a somewhat charming read, not as grounded in Outlander as I would have hoped, and Emma was a bit flaky for my liking.

  • Not what one would expect...

I have never read such an unusual book that was not just blogging but so much more. The writer has an unusual way, but such a genuine and expressive technique that warms your heart and soul. Thank you for making Emma such a sincere and loveable character, so much so that it keeps you cheering for her dreams to come true.
