    Fabulous!

Constant action with romantic interludes. Kind of "Mission Impossible" with a female heroine. A company of hotshots who do protection and hostage retrieval jobs that the US got. can't do puts Maia in charge of Jack's brother's protection. The opponent is a Russian mobster intending to set up anew drug network in the US. This is worth immense amounts of money, so lots of manpower and a lot of fights.

    Action-Packed and Holy HOTNESS!

Really enjoyed this book but admit to be confused a bit at the start as there are a lot of characters and professions/corporations to remember. But once you get going, it all falls into place and turns out to be a great read. Maia is a feisty, strong heroine and throws herself into protecting everyone around her, sometimes to her own detriment. Jack has been hurt in the past when he lost his fiance in a car "accident" and has since become a player without remorse. When he meets Maia, that all changes and he becomes the jealous, possessive type who will have her no matter what. Fire and Ice is filled with action, holy hotness and excitement. My first read of Victoria Paige, but not my last.

    Fire and Ice

It was an okay read, Jack was just way too over the top and petulant at times. Maia was a feisty as they come and a great match for Jack. There was a lot going on in this story.

    Jack

I did enjoy the book but found Jack overbearing. He could have a little more trust in Maia

    Excessive testosterone

Maia Pierce is a strong, appealing female role model until it comes to Jack McCord. His brutal, unbelievable method of dealing with issues by way of crude sex makes me suspect the author is, in fact, a man. Those scenes were not about love, they were about power, control and submission. I will not be looking for other books by Victoria Paige.
