  • Good but do not add much to the universe

"Ender's Game" has been one of my favourite books for many years. And it is the start of what is probably my favourite series. These stories add depth to some of the lesser characters in the series. The first story is about Ender's father at roughly the same age that we first meet Ender. The next is about the first meeting of Ender's parents. Both are well written and enjoyable stories and you can see where their kids get it from. And that's my problem. I just can't see these two as the virtual nonentities they are in the books. I think they would have been much more involved in their children's lives. And a meeting with another character from the novel, makes their actions even more questionable. The third story is the original version of "Ender's Game". Good, but read the novel. The last story is after Ender starts his voyaging. Enjoyable is all I can say without giving to much away.

    Thanks for your feedback!
