  • A gripping page turner

When I was first given the opportunity to read Five Little Words, I was unable to commit to it, which really bummed me out. Everything about this book appealed to me, so I was resigned to the fact that I would have to wait and read it at some point after my other reading commitments. But as fate would have it, the stars ended up aligning and here I am now writing this review on its publication day! Five Little Words is only the second book I have read from Jackie Walsh and she has delivered another thrilling read. This is an addictive one, so be prepared to be reading this well into the night! Jackie Walsh has produced a gripping page turner that kept me in the dark, never giving me any hint as to how the story was going to unfold. She does a great job of teasing the reader, toying with you along the way as she builds up the tension and suspense. The characters also have you second guessing each of them. All up Five Little words is a great read that keeps you entertained as you are taken along for the ride in solving the mystery. With its short and snappy chapters, which is a huge plus for me, it makes for a hard time in tearing yourself away, when each leaves you wanting more. It was a pleasure to read and review Five Little Words which I recommend.

  • Loved!!!!!

My Review: Wow, wow, wow, this book had me guessing all the way to the end!!!!! This is the first book I read by Jackie Walsh and it will definitely not be my last. This is a stand alone and not part of a series. This book was about secrets that would not stay hidden. A young woman murdered, a new mother who’s husband is accused of that murder and a woman’s quest to find out the truth, what comes next? Who really murdered this woman? Was it an accident or was it something more sinister than that? What secrets will be revealed? What happens after all is revealed? I want to start off by saying I really loved this book and will continue to read all this authors books in the future. I loved the way all the characters were written and loved how they all meshed well together. All the characters had a secret and I loved the way it all came out in the end and how it affected them going forward. Now on to the plot. Who doesn’t love a good murder mystery? You say murder and I say how high. I can’t get enough of it. Oh and that ending. Omg, I couldn’t believe it. Endings are always my favorite and I love to be surprised. Boy this ending had it all. I was shocked!!!!! I raced through this book and couldn’t put it down until I found out that whopper of an ending. Between the plot, characters and all the twists in this book it made it an easy and fast read. I would definitely recommend it and happily give it 5 Hearts❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

  • Pages turn themselves

Five Little Words will have you turning the pages quickly. Laura who has her own back story, receives a card stating your husband is a murderer. Now she looks suspiciously at her new husband and wonders is she made a mistake marrying Connor so quickly and jumping into a life of luxury. I love that it takes place in a small town where everyone knows everybody. I wanted to shake Laura a few times but I stood by her. I changed my mind several times on who the culprit would be. Thought I knew but I was wrong. A great way to spend some time getting lost in Five Little Words. I am off to check out Jackie Walsh's other books.

  • Five Little Words

With Five Little Words ( Jackie Walsh ) I just couldn't connect with Laura, the main character. To me Laura was too much of a wimp to be considered the "heroine". There was some surprise at the end in so far as who "did it". I want to thank NetGalley and Hera Books for an early copy to review.
