    Very entertaining!

Fix Her Up was a highly entertaining story and great start to a new standalone series. Georgie made this book for me. She's so quirky and fun. I can't tell you how many times she had me giggling. Despite not liking how everyone treats her like a child she didn't really care what people thought of her. She does want to be taken seriously but still be herself. I really liked that about her. Travis was a bitter and angry man after getting injured and losing his professional baseball career. He needed a kick in the pants and Georgie intends to deliver. She's been in love with him since she was a child and he treats her just like everyone else but as she challenges his new attitude, he's starting to see her in a new light. I really enjoyed the banter between these two. He's angry and rude and she responds in a way that is defrosting his heart until he's no longer angry. They were just a fun couple to read about. The only thing that I didn't enjoy about this book was the way Travis insisted he would never do commitment. I'm just not a fan of commitment phobe men, however, it didn't keep me from appreciating their journey to a happily ever after.

    Empowering

Tessa Bailey has a knack for writing stories about fixing hearts. Her characters start out as damaged and it’s their healing journey that makes her books so compelling. And that’s what Fix Her Up is, emotional and compelling. It took me longer to read it than usual but that’s simply because I wanted to spend more time with Georgie and Travis. Their journey together mattered.

    Perfection!

Oh this book made me smile, it made me laugh, it made me giggle, and if you enjoy a good rom-com, then this will quickly become your jam. You will never think about Tom Hanks the same again, or men named Paul, especially strippers name Paul. The comedy is strong, unexpected, fresh, and fun And the romance, the romance made me swoon, made me gasp, made me cry. Because Travis and Georgie need each other, more than they can ever guess, more than they could ever know. Until they do know, and they capture the beautifulness that is them, when it is almost too late. They refuse to give up on the other, and that means not giving up on themselves, because they are perfectly, and wonderfully, intertwined Perfection!

    Homerun!

Life throws us all curve balls it's what we do with them that matters. Travis and Georgie decide to take them on by swinging for the stars. These two are sweet and undeniably sexy. The older brother's best friend...a baseball player no less. Yeah, that has dream worthy written all over it. He may be eye candy but once this "stud" learns to use more than just his second bat he becomes swoon worthy. This small town happily ever after is just the beginning. Tessa Bailey will have you hooked and singing Take Me Out to the Ballgame while you wait for Rosie's story.
