J Robert Kennedy has a remarkable talent for interlinking ancient history and relics with present day events, producing unique novels of mystery and intrigue with thrilling suspense and raw action. The Qing Dynasty, with its golden flag and blue dragon emblem, and the generational ancestry striving right up until modern times to keep it alive and return it to its former glory and power was an interesting story in itself. The final conflict mirroring the earlier atrocities in Tienanmen Square in the 80’s was action packed and thrilling, but also shocking, to read. I hope J R Kennedy keeps finding more ancient history to use to continue writing more novels in this “James Acton Thriller” series for me to enjoy after his latest two books which I have already downloaded from Kobo.com ready to read!

As usual it was a great book. I would recommend it to anyone who likes adventure movies as these books could easily become one. Looking forward to the next book.

  • WONDERFUL READING CAN'T PUT DOWN

I have been thoroughly enjoying J.Robert Kennedys writing. This is the latest in the Acton series and was so good. I started at the first one and have loved them all, but I especially like learning about a country's culture and traditions. This one is based in China . His characters are three dimensional and talented as well. I would recommend anyone starting with the first one and follow through, you won't be able to put them down!

  • Flags Of SIN

I just got the book 6 days ago and I am in the middle of reading another book at this time, so I have no opinion on whether the book is good or bad. I have approximately 325 books in my Kobo Library to read and eventually get to, so there WON'T be any review of Flags of SIN in the very near future!! When I get around to the book there will probably be a review when I am finished.

    Thanks for your feedback!
