  • Amazing

The Wicked Lovely Series is by far the best series I have ever read. I have told everyone I know about them and have let many of my friends borrow the series from me. If you haven't read them than you are missing out! The only bad thing I can say about the series is that it ended! I wish there were more!!!!!!

  • Faerie!

Seth loves Aislinn. Only problem: he is a mortal and she is a faery queen. So he sets off on a mission to become fae himself. It’s a great book – IF you’ve read the previous two. You can get lost in the world the author created. There’s so much tension and possibility that your imagination can run wild. It’s not as good as the previous two books, but it is fun to read. My favourite parts were the scenes with the High Queen in her world. This book, just like the rest of the series, is more New Adult than Young Adult: the characters have to figure out who they want to be and how to get there.

  • Very engaging

The tension between Seth and Keenan is extremely clear. The reader can clearly see the frustration Seth feels when trying to support Aislinn. The plot gives an interesting insight to Seth and Aislinn’s relationship, with the differences between mortals and faeries causing tension. The book explores the interesting concept of an inevitable doomed love. Readers are constantly met with tension as Aislinn and Seth trying to fight for each other, whilst still conforming to the expectations of the Faery laws. With the emotion and tension extremely high throughout the book, and the inner thoughts of each character explored, the reader will be engaged throughout the book, even though there is not much action in the book. The twist at the end was unexpected, with readers feeling sympathy for Seth, understanding his decision, whilst still disagreeing with his actions. Overall, a very cleverly written book with the inner thoughts of characters explored to a deep extent.

    Thanks for your feedback!
