    Hard Pass

Formulaic and lacking any depth. The characters' "master" sends them on missions to collect information to help him become more wealthy. We get a few pages of them on the mission, everything works out and then on to the next one. Absolutely no color or depth to the storytelling. Furthermore, the humans -- who have been slaves their entire lives and have zero education -- learn how to run/fix/install complicated electronics, fly space shuttles, etc. in a matter of days. Literally written as days, not weeks, months or years. You know, just like all the real world PhDs at NASA. Even an auto mechanic can't learn the job in a couple of days. Best I can say is the book may appeal to younger readers.

    Good reading

This is an interesting take on subversion and Machiavelli.

    Really great sci-fi yarn

Love the concept. Moves along nicely. Curious to see where it all goes. Enjoyed it.

    Freedom Legends

Slaves, wealth, political games . God is right, there is nothing new under the Son.

    Fairly unique plot

It’s like Titan A.E. on steroids, with the addition of humans as slaves after being attacked and defeated.
