  • Whoa!

Whoa....Lyric's journey takes her back to the Maison Realm, but the people she expects to see on the other side are not there. She is thankful that Brae is with her, and now she must learn to trust 3 new people and deal with Easton and the attraction to him that she can't explain. Her heart still aches at the loss/reincarnation of Brae, the realization about Rhodes and the fear that she will never be what this world expects her to be. Her journey continues as she enters new territories and gains new elements, becomes stronger ash she fights along sides the ones she cares for and when she faces Rhodes and everything that was left unsaid....I LOVE this series! I can't wait to read the next one!

  • delightful fantasy

Since I had read the first one I was glad not to miss this one. I do prefer reading in order if possible. This author has the talent for contemporary and paranormal so like reading them both from her. In this one continues with Lyric with what she needs to do. Of course it can not be straight forward how you might think it has its own way with in reality is how much of life is. This YA journey is also a bit refreshing with adventure front and foremost. The path keeps you going and you do not get lost. I actually think this would appeal to any paranormal fan, I can say this being a older person. This one gave good and wait for the next one.

  • From Flame and Ash

This is an amazing series and I recommend reading it. Book two is even better than book one. Wonderful characters and it is action packed. I loved this book.

  • Awesome!

From Flame and Ash is Book 2 of the Elements of Five series by Carrie Ann Ryan. While most of her books can be read as a standalone, this series should be read in order. This story picks up where Book 1 left off after Lyric took off some time to recuperate and is now returning to the Maison Realm. It was a fast-paced, edge of your seat, action-packed story that I didn't want to end. I have 3 words for Ms. Ryan with regard to this series: "must write faster!"

  • The journey continues...

Lyric is back, and once again, she’s on an incredible journey toward her destiny. After spending a year in the human realm, studying and recovering from the losses and all that happened in the Maison realm, it’s time for her to go back. To learn more and unlock more of what’s inside her. Once there, she starts out in the Obscurité Court, Eastons home, making new friends who are helping her train. When she gets “summoned” by water, Lyric and her new crew set out on another journey. There are more trials and tribulations, more emotional moments. And more to come. I look forward to more of Lyric and her journey
