  • Game on

Sophie is a reporter for a news paper in Texas.. Her assignment is to interviwe a base ball player, who may be drafted to the majors.. Nathan is pitcher and very good. He does not want to give out information about himself...Sophies editor sends out Tim to bring the story to a head. Tim makes matters worse. A big break up.

  • Very enjoyable read

Enjoyable, funny read full of sexual tension. Nathan & Sophie had an undeniable chemistry right from the beginning. The push/pull, full of angst as they fought their feelings for each other was great. I really enjoyed the down to earth quality of Nathan as a talented baseball player on his way to the majors & the determined to get her story to keep her job attitude of sweet & sexy Sophie. Author Katie McCoy drew out the mistrust of Sophie’s profession with Nathan & mixed it with the constant electricity of attraction that appeared each time they were close to keep us hanging on as to whether they would give in to it or not. Trouble is brewing when Sophie’s editor sends another less ethical journalist to help her with the story & she ends up having to scramble to clear Nathan’s name so his chances of making it to the majors aren’t ruined. I definitely enjoyed how it was the woman who saved the day in this story & that allowed the man to move on to his goal. Recommend to read.
