  • Cooking shows can be a hazard to anybody's health!

Fury would be the first word that came into mind seeing how the people Fiona loved were being treated by the world in this most excellent book, part of the Fiona Fleming Cozy Mystery series. It was a real page turner and It sucked me in like nothing else at the moment. The moment I started to read it, I just had to go through it in one go. I usually love to go from one book to another, even in the middle of a chapter, but not in this case. I just had to discover who had done it. I sometimes have an inkling in the book, but in this one, I admit I really had a hard time figuring it out. Fiona Fleming is one incredible woman. She might have her nose all over the wrong places, but she is still an incredible character that I admit, would love to have on my side. Glad I have her creator, Patti Larsen, on my side. She is one very kind woman, and one very busy as well. With close to a book a month published, she is busy building her own empire of books, stories and trips. With over 115 books published in the last decade and counting, she has proven to be a force of nature, just like Fiona. I do see Fiona as Patti, although she will never truly admit to it. Once again, Fiona will take us through the crazy world she lives in, this time through a cooking show that will not only affect her, but her family as well, as it will destroy all that it is touching. A real tale that will make your head spin and see how much it looks like our real world at the same time where people do not hesitate to stab people in the back, or bash their head with a skillet. Cooking can be dangerous, and being a shady judge in a cooking show, yeah, even more so. Have fun reading this book, but for those who do not know anything about this series, it is strongly recommended to read them in order. The more you will dive into this series, the more you will see that it is hard to read them as stand alone. It would just be too confusing to do it that way. So, have fun reading this series and know that Fiona is the woman to beat when it comes to cozy mysteries. Happy reading!
