  • Potential

I really wanted to love this book. Dystopian futures are my favourite reads but I had to stop reading halfway through. I could not get invested in the characters or storyline. I would have liked this book as a teen.

  • Not my idea of the future.

This series was my first foray in to the genre. I loved the premise I was disappointed that Eliza's vision of the future remained steadfastly white and heterosexual. Indeed, in the middle of book 2, I was horrified to see her describe Africa as a country, especially as we learned , in detail, about areas within other countries (Wexford, in Ireland, Nottingham in England, Sydney, Australia etc). I shan't bother with the rest of the series.

  • Imaginat plot

After a somewhat slow start the story developed into a most interesting and imaginative plot that gripped me to late at night.

  • Disappointing finish

I really liked the first book and the cliffhanger ending got me hooked. But the last two books sort of meandered along to a fairly normal ending

  • An Exciting read

An interesting concept, which takes you through the highs and lows of the events as the story unfolds. Some bits are predictable, but, is written in a way to keep your interest
