  • The best kind of present

I received an ARC of this book to read through the author in exchange for a fair review. Gifting Me to His Best Friend by Katee Robert is the second book in her saucy A Touch of Taboo series. It can be read as a standalone. Emma and her husband Grayson are spending the Christmas holidays in a cozy chalet along with his best friend Derek, when they decide to open up their relationship and gift Emma to Derek for Christmas. This is a torrid but surprisingly sweet friends to lovers MMF menage that I enjoyed reading immensely. It explores fantasies coming to life and how what starts as a one-time thing can grow and become something more. The story will definitely keep you warm on a cold winters night. Steam Level: Sizzling. Publishing Date: July 30, 2020. #GiftingMeToHisBestFriend #KateeRobert #TrinketsAndTales #SeriouslySteamy #ContemporaryRomance #bookstagram

  • It’s the perfect get-away-from-reality read.

Christmas has never been so hot! After Your Dad Will Do I didn’t think Katee Robert could write any other story that was even hotter but clearly I was wrong because then Gifting Me To His Best Friend came along. It was dirty, scorching and one of the kinkiest books I’ve ever read. The title pretty much gives away the premise of the book. It’s about a married couple, Emma and Grayson, going on their yearly Christmas holiday with the husband’s best friend, Derek. Once there things quickly become steamy and filthy as hell. Right from the start I adored these three characters. They had a lot of chemistry together and I loved that they gave in to their secret desires. And just like with Your Dad Will Do it wasn’t just all sex. There was a lot of smut, yes, which is just the way I like it (and boy does Katee Robert write it so well!) but there was also communication between the characters as well as feelings, understanding and consent. I loved this! I do think I loved Your Dad Will Do a tiny bit more than Gifting Me To His Best Friend but I can literally not say anything negative about it so just go pick up this book. It’s the perfect get-away-from-reality read.

  • “There are no rules when it’s Christmas.”

Katee Roberts books have an uncanny ability to grab hold and not let you go until long after the last word is read. I never pick up one of her books unless I know I can give up the next few hours, since there is no chance I’ll be putting the book down until I’ve finished it. She’s just that good. And her latest, “Gifting Me To His Best Friend,” is no exception. “It’s Christmas, after all. There are no rules when it’s Christmas.” The story centers on three people, Emma, her husband Grayson, and his best friend, Derek. For years they have all intentionally avoided the attraction they feel towards each other, but while on their annual Christmas vacation, they finally decide to give in to temptation. The book starts off hot as sin, and doesn’t let up. But, despite all the dirty, sexy fun, the book also emphasizes how much each of the relationships mean to the characters. Emma and Grayson have a solid marriage, one in which they both are willing to be open and honest with each other. That in and of itself is sexy, as far as I’m concerned. Then add the friendship, complete with missed opportunities, that Grayson and Derek have shared over the years. Toss in the friendship Emma and Derek have forged and you have the makings of some pretty intense feelings between the three. What starts out as a fun, slightly taboo frolic turns into so much more. So yes, the book is just as sexy as the title and cover suggest. (Actually, it’s even sexier!) But it also has engaging characters, real emotions and truly wonderful writing. I highly recommend it. Christmas in July has never been hotter!

  • Gifting me to hus best friend

A menage is something I fantasized over the years when I was younger (68 years old now). I don't know if this something that would work in real life but the stiry was captivating. I could not put the book down.
