  • Written for word count

This piece was clearly a contract fulfillment. You can tell, and it’s even mentioned several times about publishing deadlines and word counts. One “motivational” book would have been enough from Hollis, this is a waste of word count and time.

  • Shallow and self-serving

This book was awful. Rachel comes from a position of white privilege which seriously undermines her entire message. It is a book that uses toxic positivity as fact - living a happy life is not as simple as "choosing happiness". Life and healthy mentalities is about acknowledging and working through discomfort to achieve self-love and happiness. This book is shallow amd self-serving at best.

  • Lit my soul on fire

Incredibly inspiring and so many points on this book where I was physically nodding my head to because I’ve experienced them. Very practical as well and a few views have been changed thanks to Rachel’s blunt dissection of old cliches that do us no good. I’d encourage all women regardless of where you’re at in life to devour this book and be inspired to be more!!

  • Simple yet powerful

Very easy read, Rachel is relational and humorous, speaks clearly and simply. Good book to remind us that we are capable of great things, just have to believe it and make a path to get to where we want to go.

    Thanks for your feedback!
