  • Going to sea in a sieve

Funny, real and very reminiscent of those days in London. Being the same age as Danny and from the east end of London, I could identify with much of his early days.

  • Makes you feel more behind the times than you actually are

Being about five years younger than Danny I'm very familiar with the artist and groups that his stories involve but as he worked, lived and grew up at the center of the changes going on in the music industry by the time I experienced any of the new and up-coming stuff that was going on, Danny had already moved on to the next new thing. However at times his story telling is a bit disjointed, jumping forward and backwards in the sequence of things, and seems to be only snippets of a bigger and more interesting story.

    Thanks for your feedback!
