    The price the children pay

This is a beautifully written account of the price the innocent pay for the sins of their parents. The sense of Australian childhood is palpable- the freedom and joy of simple summer play in a typical suburb, the ebb and flow of friendships, the tenuous inching of impending adolescence - all overwritten by the sins of the fathers. A sensitive and very genuine telling.
