Is there anything she can't do?

I'm a huge fan of Holly's music, so I was so excited to see she had finished a novel. I was not disappointed, although it was not what I was expecting at all. Having grown up in a similar small town, I felt a strong connection to the characters and community. The mystery was compelling and at times heartbreaking; the reveals slow and shocking. A brilliant debut from one of Australia's most talented writers.

    Great Aussie story

I loved this one as much as Cedar Valley....the author has such a straight forward style, the book captivating from start to finish. It was a great story about a small town and its characters and how they deal with the disappearance of 2 locals. There's a bit of light and dark and the story never became boring. I would recommend this if you enjoy Australian stories with interesting characters and a mystery thrown in.

    A good basis

The basis of the story line was strong but I found the writing style to be naive. The tension surrounding the town and its inhabitants may have been better developed with a more mature approach.
