  • I really like this trilogy

I would especially like to thank Booksprout, the author and Drowlgon Press for allowing me to read this trilogy. I was immediately attracted by the beautiful cover of this trilogy, which shows the pretty Daphne in schoolgirl's outfit holding a magic wand and a sort of notebook. In the first book: "Catching a vampire": we learn that Daphne's dream is to study at the Grimalkin Acadamy since her early childhood. Her best friend is not able to cast even the simplest spells and as for her brother he has found an old spell to turn everyone into a cat. She often goes on dates with a vampire and two of her classmates try to get her attention and one of her teachers seems to hate her. In "Catching a wizard": it is with a broken and rejected heart that Daphne must find a way out if she wants to continue studying at The Grimalkin Academy. Her brother is still looking for the family charm, her best friend tries to convince her to accept a date. Daphne wants a vampire to forgive her. And in "Catching a Warlock": Daphne didn't want to find this famous spell. Being turned into a cat, side effects are starting to kick in. It's a time trial for her, especially since her enemy wants to have her expelled from school. Will she and her friends find a way to stay at the Grimalkin academy? A trilogy read in one go, so much so that I immediately hooked on the story, so captivating, addictive, full of suspense and twists and turns with endearing characters. Can't wait to read the complete series in paperback.

  • Great Boxed Set

The story lines were good, the character work was great, and the books all had a fairly smooth flow to them. This was a great boxed set, I liked the convenience of having all the books in one collection. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

  • ONE FANTASTIC SERIES!!!

Greedy gremlins! Laura hit the ground running with this brilliantly composed work of art, laying out the killer storylines and gripping plots, keeping you riveted and frozen to your seat, wrapping this baby up sleek, shiny and tight. Blurred lines and crossed boundaries, expectations are weighed and balanced, flinging this lil' fella forward without a hitch, booting it into overdrive, blasting it into a hissy with a life-altering realization. Shenanigans, escapades and mayhem rule the roost displaying the drama, turmoil, unnerving, intrigue, spiraling suspense and nail-biting situations, along with a double dose of moxie and intellect, you have one intoxicating masterpiece. Quirky mishaps and startling circumstances swirl with the formidable trials and taxing tribulations, spinning alongside the stunning twists and wicked turns, putting our characters through their paces, testing them in ways they could have never imagined. Braided, bound and entangled, showcasing the explosive ups and agonizing downs, grounding in its strength and awe-inspiring in its depth, blowing this baby wide open. The characters, banter, dialogue, interactions and charged atmosphere along with relatable qualities and individual traits, blend and flow, transforming into genuinely charismatic personalities. The scenes are so graphically descriptive you have no trouble picturing each scenario as they play out perfectly. Fantastic job Laura, thanks for sharing this little bundle with us.
