  • This isn't worth the paper it's printed on.

Hah, both positive reviews are on the exact same day. Way to fake your own reviews. The author can be found saying idiotic things like "bootlicking should be illegal" on social media in response to someone disliking the idea of people pulling guns on other people just because they got a seat belt ticket. The book is much like this, with way over the top stupidity and out of proportion reactions, ideas, and events compared to the events in-story. It reads like a 6 year old with paranoid schizophrenia telling a story. The plot is considerably sub-par to contemporary works in the same genre. Just not worth it on any level. Reading the labels on a cereal box is far more interesting.

  • Weakly written without conviction.

Lacked imagination in both its writing style and overall story. Very clear the author is trying to instill theology into their writing while adding a fantasy element to hide the fact it’s a bible rip off. Even though it is disclaimed that the author used the Bible as reference it is sad that they would choose to rewrite a bad story instead of writing a good story of their own.

  • Hand of the Reconers

Not an easy book to follow, to many character names to follow, even pronounceing them is hard enough, hard to follow the story line?

  • Rare and Refreshing

As a free-thinking fantasy fan, it is very refreshing to find like-minded folks out there with fresh and original creative talent. Too much of our art and pop culture forces liberal group-think ideals on us these days, turning off many of us who have been fans of the genre for life. Hand of the Reckoners wraps a wildly entertaining and unique story with incredible character development and common sense philosophies that have all but disappeared in today’s print and digital media. I would highly recommend this book to anyone interested in the fantasy-fiction genre or even the casual Game of Thrones fan. Can’t wait to see what Mr. Crotts comes up with next!
