  • Hannibal enemy of Rome

I thoroughly enjoyed this book , it was in the same stylised historically correct fashion as Conn Iggulden whom I also enjoyed reading , it was very hard to put down and the characters were easily pictured in my mind through their thoughtful descriptions, an easy read.

    Thanks for your feedback!

  • Hanibal enemy of Rome

The book is slow to start but then moves along at a good pace . Very interesting and good on Historical content. I am reading the next in line now.

  • Excellent Read!

I loved the building of the characters in this first book of the Hannibal series. Ben Kane's depiction of life in the early days of the republic are accurate and well researched. I look forward to reading the rest of the series. Well done Mr. Kane!

  • Ben Kane done it again

This was a very interesting in site into a way of life long forgotten by most. Ben Kane keeps the reader on the edge with his battle descriptions in all his novels. His research is very thorough, an enjoyable read.

  • Hannibal

Hannibal himself isn't really a main character in this book, but it certainly tells of some of his battles in an engaging way and gives insight into Roman and Carthaginian life in a very engaging way
