  • An outstanding read

Outstanding writing, brilliant characters and an engaging, exciting plot. This is a contemporary, thought provoking, page-turning thriller. I was completely gripped. The story goes from London to the Middle East, with the scenes all described so vividly. Clearly the author has done a lot of research to be able to construct such a frighteningly plausible plot. I was gutted when I finished it - I didn't want it to end, but it has stayed with me. Wow. I thoroughly recommend this if you are after a truly original book.

  • Outstanding.

Nick Louth is an excellent author. This is one of the best hoojs I've had the pleasure of reading. His plots are intricate, his characters beautifully constructed and his writing style superb. He weaves a intricate web of characters, locations and time periods. The deeper you go, the mire involved in the story you become. Superbly researched, beautifully crafted and written. I didn’t want to put it down, but I didn't want it to end. The thurs book I've read of his, all excellentm this exceptional. Recommended.

  • HEARTBREAKER

Has Nick Louth's characteristic exciting action. However, I was at first taken by it's great differences from his DCI Gillard series. I must say, too, that found it rather Islamophobic.
