  • Loved it

Loved this one! Gray McKinnon has had a hard time moving on after his girlfriend was involved in an accident that left her in a coma two years ago. He doesn't think he will ever find love again until Nina Hendrix comes back to town. Problem is it's Nina's sister that is in the coma. Great read that deals with these two struggling with their feelings and the guilt they feel. Another excellent book in this series. I highly recommend it.

  • His Dakota Heart

Gray had first met Nina on the rodeo circuit, they had a connection but it was soon overtaken by her sister so she backed off. Tragedy alwyas brings people together for the rights reasons, Nina hadn't seen Gray for almost two years but as soon as she hears his voice that's all it takes for the old feelings to resurface. Gray on the other hand after he sees her the first time can't seem to get her out of his mind either, they slowly reconnect and take things further but as they do her sister passes away and she is devastated she thing Gray doesn't want her she thinks he still wants and grieves Jen so she wants to leave, when tragedy strikes again with his father she can't keep away she heads straight back to him but will their feelings come to light so they can move forward.

  • Emotional and heartwarming tale.

Two years later Nina and Gray are still reeling from an unexpected tragedy. Trying to pick up the pieces and go on is proving to be hard for each of them. Nina lost her sister, Gray lost the love of his life. Grieving is never easy for anyone involved. Moving on is never easy either. Lisa Mondello did a beautiful job of creating an atmosphere where each individual character is trying to make the best of a tough situation. I loved how the story ended up come full circle and the characters ended up gaining what they needed from the most unexpected and overlooked of places. His Dakota Heart is an emotional heartwarming tale about appreciating the things that you have, not what you've lost. I received a copy of this story for an honest review.
