  • Fun, easy read.

Hot Mess is a sweet, sexy story about Shannon Torres, an elementary school teacher and Finn Stoneman, the world’s biggest movie star. Finn has had a bit of a hard time recently and has come to Shannon’s small hometown to get away from the pressures of his life, and to escape the paparazzi. Shannon is just about holding her life together after her cheating husband did one last dirty deed. Finn appears just when she needed him the most, although neither of them knew that. This was a lovely story, with very little angst. Both Shannon and Finn kept some things to themselves but they told enough to build the trust that Shannon needed. Will he deserve it? Or is there a secret lurking that will pull them apart. Find out when your grab your own copy of Hot Mess today.

  • warm feelings

I totally adore Elise Fabers books. It ´s like watching through a window in other people lives. But with warm sunshine around. Shannon suffers because she didn't really know who she is. She needs a backbone and I loved that Finn was able to help her. The fact that both main characters have totally different problems made this book a thrilling read. Confidence versus self-surrender, mega star versus single mom, and the questioning of fault, these are the well described subjects of this romantic read. No rampant horizontal sceneries but much sparkling and get to know each other made this book very romantic and easy to read. I love the way Elise writes about women who need to find their way back to luck and love. And little Rylie is the sweetest kid and a wonderful co - star. And yes, for sure there is a douche bag in the past who takes the hating part for all readers . Douchy - baggy Brian I loved this book a lot.

  • Hot Mess

Hot Mess starts off just as the title states, a hot mess. This was my first book by Elise Faber and I will for sure be reading more of her books. I loved the semi-slow build-up of Finn and Shannon's relationship. Shannon is such a strong heroine, Rylie is an adorably cute kid and I loved the attentiveness Finn showed and how he always knew what was needed. I wanted to hurt Brian more and more as the book went along. Other than when Shannon was talking to Brian I think I had a smile on my face the whole time I was reading. I look forward to the next Life Sucks instalment. *ARC was generously provided in exchange for my honest review*

  • Hot Mess

I can’t express how much I loved this book an the characters. I just wished that Brian, the ex, would’ve finally realized what he threw away.
