  • Unique & different Isekai Novel.

It is not your usual isekai novel, instead of go to front line, massacring enemy and building harem with perverted mind he become king and burdened by responsibilities that follow. He then reform the kingdom using modern knowledge he know. There are harem element in this novel. But it wasn't absurd harem that girls just flocking MC without just cause. Overall, It was good read and you better read it.

  • A Superb Light Novel! Highly Reccomended

This book has a lot of heart, charm as well as intelligence to it; by RPG standards, it's a critical hit. The story is a unique one; the main character Souma gets summoned from modern-day-Japan to help in a fantasy kingdom with their struggles with other countries as well as the oncoming demon armies. He's not the strong, typically heroic type however, and the magic he does gain in this world sucks as far as sheer offensiveness is concerned. However he IS intelligent, driven, rational and logical to an almost incredible degree, well read in 'realistic' social philosophy, and kind-hearted; a first-class brain, in other words. He impresses the king and his council to such a degree that they decide to give this young man, our MC Souma, kingship so that he may reform an rebuild the kingdom. Does that sound interesting? It may not, but the books manages to make it fairly so; the characters that he meets and recruits along his path of reform are quirky but lovable, the reforms themselves are realistic in construction and yet somehow often entertaining, and there's enough conflict both present and to come that things don't feel SO in control that it feels like things will be TOO easy for our competent king. In short, this was an excellent read, and I can't recommend this enough to anyone wanting to start a new light novel series :)

  • Great!

Not much action, this was a different approach to the isekai genre and I ain't even complaining! I loved how from time to time we got to see some other characters POV. And for someone who lacks in political skills, I also learned one or two things The first volume set the story up for multiple possibilities. The author really seems knowledgeable

  • Very promising - Can't wait for the next one!

This book is not your typical Isekai novel. The main protagonist indeed comes from the modern world we know but he doesn't fight! Finally a story where the hero decides to use the knowledge he has to improve the life in the other world. The political struggles are especially well-detailed and are very interesting, it brings a fresh breeze on the genre!
