Wow I need to lie down now!

This really is a rollacoster of a book; with it short sharp turns, quick declines and then head it page turning climax. Truly grim in places but sadly always believable in its detail. I for one will be waiting to see what marvel Mr Hayes will come up with next.

    I am Pilgrim

Having read a lot of books belonging to large series for example Lee child , Patterson , leather and nesbo I was looking for something a little more original and wanted to avoid the more predictable story lines . As a debut book this is excellent. The characters Saracen and pilgrim are depicted brilliantly I can imagine exactly how this two would look . How their wits are pitted and plot wirhout meeting through the story is great . This is as good as the steig Larson trilogy ....which is my favourite books read so far . I hope the next book day of the locust is as good .

    About I am Pilgrim

This is a story about an early retired top US government agent who is enticed back into the world of inernational double dealing to try and avert an international calamity. From a start which includes rather gruesome descriptions of past events in the Middle East, the story expands and gathers suspense ťo the present. It is a real thriller. The further you read, the harder it is to put the book down

    Page turner

A Fantastic read. This was not a book I would probably have chosen, a friend recommended it to me and I am glad I listened. The story had me hooked from the start, I couldn't put it down and yet did not want to finish it either!
