  • Facing your fears

I was over 90% into the book before the title made sense, and when it hit me why the book was named this, it packed a powerful emotional punch. You know the saying “If you are going through hell, just keep going”, that is Piper. But she never really looked at how she ended up there. She was happy to be out of it, and that she survived the journey. Intent on avoiding everything she had come to associate with that horrible time, she had cut off a huge part of herself, her submissiveness. Ethan had survived his own turmoil, but he thought he was well past them. Piper spoke to the protector in him, and he was determined to be that for her. It wasn’t easy, and had a few detours, as well as a lot of roadblocks. Some Ethan expected, others caught him completely unawares, and he made some mistakes because of it. It helped them both that the Dark Haven crew was there for them, and failure was not an option! When your supporting characters include a fluffy, needy, ragdoll kitty who thinks he is truly the Prime Minister Churchill he is named after. A kitty who was the sole possession a fleeing woman brought with her in her escape, and Dixon. Sweet, sweet Dixon who mans the desk at Dark Haven has found his HEA, and has some issues hanging onto it, and gives us a wonderful story inside our main story. Lots of Lindsay, Abby, and Rona. Which means, The Enforcer, My Liege, and Simon as well. And some truly bad guys who get their comeuppances from this amazing ensemble 😊

  • I WIIL NOT BEG By Cherish Sinclair

What a story and what an ending. Piper Delaney has signed a contract to be a slave with this incredible master who is kind and treat her so much better then her family. But the. It’s like he flicked a switch and now he mistreats her and is very mean. She overhears another Dom say that her contract is illegal and that same night Piper runs. Years later she meets the same Dom only he is willing to help her but he has his own issues with forever relationships. Can two messed up people find their Balance and just maybe a little happiness .

  • Absolutely amazing

It seems like I have been waiting for Cherise Sinclair’s I Will Beg, the latest in her Dark Haven forever, and it was SO worth the wait. She has delivered an absorbing thought provoking BDSM romantic suspense story. There were moments that tugged at my heartstrings and others where the budding relationship and sexual chemistry between Ethan and Harper just made my heart sing. I loved the part the secondary character from Dark Haven played in the story. It’s always such fun to see what some of my favorite couples from previous books are up to. This book easily reads as a stand alone but I urge you to read all the books in this (and her other) series. You’ll be happy you did. I can hardly wait for the audio to come, I just can’t get enough of this book. Hopefully Cherise is busy on her next book, I will wait patiently, anticipation growing as her books are always worth the wait.

  • Loved!

YES! Finally, Sir Ethan gets his story!!!!!!! This author has an amazing way of making the "victims" become the strength and backbone of the book. This was most definitely a journey of overcoming something horrific and finding one's self and having great support and an awesome Alpha ready to dig in and not give up. This book did not disappoint!
