    In Pieces

I have enjoyed reading In Pieces it was packed full of emotion. I loved how this story was about Beth and David and how much David risked for his love for his best friends lil sister and I also admire Beth for finally standing up to her ex Brian. I have loved reading the Something More seires and I can't wait to see what the next story bring. I love how Danielle Pearl's writing makes you fell like you are in the story it is AMAZING!! 5 stars.

    Another beautifully written story

4.5 Stars As always with a Danielle Pearl book, you just know you’re about to read something special and In Pieces was no different. Right from the beginning, I was swept away by Danielle’s writing and the magic of the story. Although not connected to In Ruins, which I adored, In Pieces has the same emotional and captivating feel to it. Portraying the story of forbidden love, we meet Beth Caplan who recovering from a trauma that has scarred her young life and the boy that has always protected her, her brother’s friend, David March. Now both attending the same college, Beth is trying to live a normal life but with David her constant shadow, and warning every boy within 100 miles to stay away from her, normal is anything but what she’s experiencing. David needs to know Beth is safe and well. He too wants her to experience normal but despite inviting her to frat parties, he is still obsessively protective of her. David has always loved Beth but has been unable to appreciate his feelings for her until now. Sworn away from her by her brother, David is torn between his feelings for her and upsetting his lifelong friend. But with Beth facing possible danger once again, this time from a boy who appears to be stalking her, David knows that he must do everything in his power to keep her safe. From emotional breakdowns to new love, Beth finds herself in an altogether different whirlwind of emotions as she struggles to understand her feelings for David. Is the boy she has grown up with the man of her dreams or is he more of a brother to her? With forbidden love comes, even more, drama for Beth and David but will they find a way to prove to everyone that they are destined to be together? This was a really sweet storyline which gave me chills at times. I really do love Danielle Pearl’s writing and would highly recommend her books to everyone who loves a story which combines young love, pain, frustration and a good old HEA.
