  • Nice title easy to pick up

Very good, enjoyable and easy read. Let's you into a few A and E secrets. Only one minor change is made as use a chapter or two too long.

  • In stitches

A boring excuse for a book! The title suggests it is fun...but FAR FROM IT! It is nothing but whinging and whining about working in the NHS. Maybe we should ALL write a book about gripes in our workplace.

  • Too much rant about the NHS

This book is only partially about the author's experience as an ER doctor. In reality, it is at least 85% ranting about the state of the British National Health Service, and how it makes it difficult to treat patients. He keeps saying that he likes his job, but there is very little evidence of that. As a Canadian, I understand what he is saying because we have a number of the same issues. Even so, to go on and on and on about this seeming obcession is not productive.
