  • Thoughtful

Beautifully written encompassing present and past. Great depictions of history on ordinary people.

  • A 'wonderful read. Loved it. Highly recomend.

Loved loved loved this story. This is the first book by Leah Fleming that I have read but it certainly wont be the last. The garden discriptions drew me into the book and then I discovered there was a lot more to the story. I love the way Leah wove the history into the plot as I love to learn as I read. The book had depth and humour as well as being a real tale of humanity.

  • Exceptional read

Loved this book. The charachters were believable and drew me in. The garden and locality felt homely. It reminded of how it felt to read a book whilst I was a child. Very rare with modern authors today.
