  • Full of feels

I went into this book prepared to feel all the feels. The blurb of this book caught me and had me wanting more right from the start. I'm a sucker for a good second chance romance and when you add a baby into the mix I'm a goner. This book definitely got me right in the gut and I NEED the next one so I know how this all plays out. I was gripped by this story. Positively captivated from the first page and I didn't want the story to end. And when it did? You can bet I wanted to throw my kindle because I NEEDED more of this story and it wasn't there. I loved watching Ashton and Quinn with each other. I felt their relationship really grew in this book and it was all so organic and believable. It wasn't all sunshine and roses-they each had their own fair share of hurdles to get through-and it was so satisfying to witness them do that. I was cheering them on as I swooned from the sidelines andQuinn stole my heart right along with Ashton's. The writing in this book is fabulous. I felt like I was right there with Quinn and Ashton (and their friends) throughout this story. The pacing completely worked for me-nothing felt rushed in any way or dragged for me. I will say that my heart was definitely racing at the end. Indefinite is a great example of why Corinne Michaels is a best selling author. This book hit me right in the gut and I can't wait for the next book. I absolutely recommend this title.

  • Best book of 2019!

I jumped back into the Salvation Series world with Indefinite by Corrine Michaels and I didn’t realize how much I have missed these characters until they popped back up in Ashton and Quinn’s story. I think Ashton is my new favorite heroine. She’s feisty and willing to put up a fight for what she wants. I admire her, she was willing to give up the man she loves because she’s been hurt by him too many times she just assumes the cycle is going to continue and that breaks my heart. Ready to have a baby on her own without a man, Quinn comes back into her life and puts it upside down. The two of them fight like cats and dogs and it's like foreplay for both of them that they end up in bed together. I thought I saw the big twist coming but nope, two big whammies happen at the end of the book leaving us with a huge cliffhanger not knowing what's going to happen next. This was a definite 5 star read and I’m anxiously waiting for the conclusion of the book.

  • Review: Salvation 6: Indefinite

Indefinite by Corinne Michaels is the first book in her brand new Indefinite Duet and the sixth book in the overall Salvation series. The story of Quinn and Ashton is a little heartbreaking. There is so much angst and back and forth between these two characters. They are so obviously in love with each other. As a reader we get the benefit of both their POV's, but individually they are clueless sometimes to what the other one is thinking, feeling, and going through. Ashton is a strong woman - she is adamant about not backing down - even when Quinn is so adamant about changing and loving her. The bare bones of the duet is a second chance romance (at least so far) but there's also an undercurrent of danger with Quinn's new job and run towards danger SEAL tendencies. This definitely ends on a hell of a cliffhanger so brace yourself. However, book two in the duet, Infinite, is expected to release on July 16, 2019 so it's not too far out. Enjoy!

  • Love being back in the Salvation World

Do you know that feeling when you feel like you are “home”? That’s the feeling I got as soon as I started Chapter 1 of Indefinite. I will also say.....I have been waiting for Ashton and Quinn’s book for AGES!!!!! I continue to be blown away with Ms. Michaels’ writing and how she can intertwine these amazing characters. Ashton and Quinn’s story is exactly how I wanted it with soooooo much more!!!! Now.....I really need Infinite.......because I’m just......lost right now.

  • All the infinite stars!

There are books you love through the story. There are books that goes like a slow burn and you get attached as the plot goes on. And there are books like Indefinite, that has you hooked since the first paragraph and then you can't put it down. This is the first book in a duet that is also part of the Salvation series. I've read the whole series already and I love it more with each book, and since book one we've got to know both Ashton and Quinn, and since then I've been waiting for their story. Oh, it's been so worth the wait. We had glimpses of them here and there along the previous books, but only now we can start to understand their dinamics. There is so much we don't know about them, about their lives and about their relantionship. And since page one I could feel for them. Quinn is a navy SEAL with a sad past, so he had enough of traumas to last hima life time. For that, trusting and letting people in are a struggle, specially when the person who is trying to get in is someone he believes he doesn't deserve. Ashton is independent and strong, and she is also a sweet at heart, so loyal, and she has so much love to give. But after trying and trying for so long to make things work with Quinn, she realizes the healthiest she could do is to get out of his life for good and accomplish her dreams totally on her own. But life has a way of laughing at your face at the same time it guides you to the right path. And being the smart man he is, Quinn is finally faced with the battle of his life: fighting for Ashton's love again and his place in her life. "I was never an idiot who didn't love you. I was an idiot who didn't tell you" Their love was fire and burn, but it was also healing and heartwarming. They learned how to nurture and how to get a rise out of each other, they were protective and caring, but also challenging. There was never a dull moment between them, and their feelings were one you could would last and last. "'I would do anything to be the man who gave it to you. I'm okay with it because I want this with you. I want everything with you' 'For how long?' 'Indefinitely'" The problem is that, as I said, life has a way to laugh at you, and when you think things are too good to be true, life proves you that it probably is indeed too good to be true, and both Ashton and Quinn's worst fears can come back to knock at their doors. God, I'm dying here having to wait for the next book!!
