  • I Love Jake and Presley!!

First this is not your normal book from Nicole Edwards. I did love it though! As I read this story I knew I was reading about Nicole herself. How she doesn't like to be in the spotlight and other things. To read and understand the writing process that an author goes through to give us the readers the books we love is just amazing to me!! There is a lot of internal dialogue leading up to the heart of the story. I absolutely love the two main characters Jacob "Jake" Wild and Presley Abrams. One of the most clever things is you get a book within the book. Two for the price of one if you will. Jake an author suffering from a mind block and Presley an artist who is also suffering from a ming block and still suffering from a broken heart. They become each others muse and work through the mind blocks and Jake helps heal her heart. I also love the two main characters that are in Jake's book "Unexpected" Donovan Brushwood and Kora Madison. I thoroughly enjoyed reading Inked On Paper and Unexpected which is at the end of the book.

  • Unusual and unique

5 Star Review Inked on Paper by Nicole Edwards Audio Review:   This was such an unusual story, a story within a story that had me intrigued as soon as I read the blurb. This was an exciting book to read and I was fully invested from the first to the last chapter. Jacob Wild is a writer suffering from writer’s block. With no end in sight he hangs out at a local cafe in the hopes that his creative juices will be lock started. Presley Abrams, a tattooed tattoo artist is the woman who catches his eye. Thanks to a cheating ex Presley too is suffering from the same. With a deadline looming she is concerned that she won’t have an entry ready for an art contest. The slow build in their relationship only adds to the enjoyment. Their scenes together were scorching, if only their level of communication out of the bedroom was just as good. Watching Jacob and Presley inspire each other was heart warming. The narration was great and enhanced my enjoyment of this story.

  • I loved this book

I just loved this book. I loved the way it was written, I adored the characters, and I loved the story within the story. Presley and Jacob were great together, and the interactions between them and between all the other characters had me smiling while reading. I just didn't want the story to end.
