  • Vigilante type hero helps the downtrodden

A rollicking story with plot depth and a super hero in Orphan X; at times fantastical but keeps the interest and has inspired enough to read over novels by Gregg Hurwitz.

  • Do I look scared

Just finished this & all the other Orphan X books for the 2nd time. I thought it was a good way to spend a few weeks of lockdown. Even better 2nd time around, Gregg is a master of his art. The books contain just the right amount of perfectly described action with great details of weaponry & martial arts. The humour has me laughing out loud. Is Evan Smoak better than Reacher, Milton & J.C Bannister? You'll have your own opinions, but I'd say yes he is. Bring on The Prodigal Son

  • Another good read

Follows the OrphanX formula. Plenty of action. Good triumphs over evil etc etc. Worth reading.
