  • I love it but there is a but....

Ripping off the bandaid ... The book is so quick to a point where you feel like there are some things missing its fine though some relationships are like that. We spend a lot of the book without josh and we simply rely on Isla's vision of josh to figure out who he is. Isla's character development is quite odd, but she does change into a better character. The oddness comes from the fact that she is so shy she seems to be a narrator rather than a character. The good ... It's different to Stephanie Perkins's other books It is very enjoyable. Cute. Funny. Isla's character is easily relatable. The re appearance of the older characters from Anna and the French. Kiss and Lola and the boy next door is fantastic. Don't worry you do not need to read these books in order to understand what is happening. All in all it's a great book.
