  • A Really Well Written Memoir!

    I really felt for the author as she described her childhood of food addiction and how it related to her dysfunctional family. As the daughter of an alcoholic father and a mother who worked to support her family, food was her safe place. It is the story of how food controls her whole life even when she is an adult, has sought help and looks "normal" on the outside. Inspirational story!

  • Inspirational

    First of all 5 stars doesn't do this book justice. I would give it 10 stars if I could. As someone who struggled with weight loss and food issues, this book spoke to me directly. At times, it seemed that the author Andi Mitchell was writing down MY thoughts in HER book. It was incredible! I recommend this book to anyone struggling to lose weight and eat healthy. The only sad thing about this book was that it ended. This book will be on the top of my book list and it will be read many times in the future.

  • A very inspiring read

    The issue of weight is multi faceted. It may seem straightforward,but it’s not. I came away from this read with a much more in-depth understanding of the emotional, physical,and psychological components of being healthy. Thank you Andie.
