    Joker One

Best book I read yet about Iraqi yet. Nice to see it from an officers point of view. How and combat officer should stand by his men and quickly learn from any mistakes made. How a platoon forms a a family that once in combat is always family. Great book, great read.

    A deeply personal story

This is not a souped-up war novel. There is no real plot or caped crusaders. There are, however, some superheroes. This is a story about a new lieutenant and his soldiers and what he goes through to lead them. Emotions, leadership. tactical decisions and relationships are all dealt with from the position of one in combat, trying to make it home. The book is straightforward but never dull. He has served his unit well in this telling of their story.
