    Thanks for your feedback!

Massive but enjoyed every bit of it.

The book is written in the style of old Victorian Classics, has well fleshed out characters. It is long but as I was reading the book, I didn't wanted it to end. Mr. Norell is THE character that moves the story along and that is what makes me love this book, Susanna Clarke doesn't give us a conventional or linear storyline, you really knows that she is very confident of her materials. Do give this book a read, comes highly recommended.

    Very Strange and strangely Nor-mal

What a wonderful yarn - you really get to that feeling of 'of course magic exists ' - especially when the construction of a spell just seems so logical. The language is so soft and endearing that the horrors catch you unawares. Enjoyed it immensely even though I normally tread the historical action / Sci-fi routes.

    Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrel

I loved every moment. To be transported to Georgian and Regency England so completely, with magical connotations was sheer escapism. Will the be a sequel? Hope so!

    Fabulous Read

I sarting watch the TV series and saw it was based on the book, so of course I had to get it. I enjoyed the book and the writing so much that I stopped watching the series (mind you, it was a good adaptation, maybe now I've finished the book, I'll watch it again). I am going to have to check out Suzanne's

    A lovely story

This was a very enjoyable book. The setting is amazing and easy to feel like you're a part of. There is a lot about this book that is British and I just love it. Really glad I read it!
