  • Just a Girl

Just a Girl is a book that captures the particular time period in food, fashion, furniture and housing. An incredible story with emotional depth and sensitivy that captivates how much harder it was for a girl to make her mark in the world and to set herself apart from the crowds of 'just a girl' ladies who worked hard all day long for their families and communities yet they remained in the shadows with no recognition. We should always be grateful for the world we live in today and how far we have progressed, even though there is a long way to go before we reach full gender equality, this is definitely an achievement from Judith's time. I highly recommend this book to girls who aren't afraid to step out from the crowd and voice what they believe is an important matter, putting a new spin on: 'there is never just a girl'.

    Thanks for your feedback!
