Loved this Amazing Emotional Roller Coaster!

Hang on to your hats ladies and gents! This is one emotional ride! Just an Illusion - The B Side is the second book in the Illusion trilogy, so please keep this in mind when you sit down to devour this book! You should definitely read Just an Illusion - Side A first (because it's awesome!) and because The B Side picks up where Side A left off. This book is heavy on the feels and at times you will be riding the highs, but oh, there are some truly heavy lows too. Prepare yourself for the swoons (#TeamWeston for the win!), steam (still fanning myself here), and some heartache too (Noooooooooo!). I really loved the mix of playfulness and lighthearted banter (LOVE the Weston and BAD family) and the angst and mystery. There are some truly epic surprises in this one too! Forgive my vague wording/review, but trust me when I say that you want to experience these moments from D. Kelly on your own. I could not put this book down and finished it in one sitting (Yes, adulting was ignored and children *may* have eaten cereal for dinner, but they understood that this book could not be ignored! Hahahahaha!) The B Side was a slower burn for me, really fleshing out the characters and what drives/motivates them. You get to know all the characters better and get to meet some sweet new additions as well. The wait until June for the final book feels torturous and bittersweet, but I know it will be worth it! Don't miss this amazing love story!

These books are so fantastic they really make you want to burst with excitement one minute then cry like a baby the next, and that was literally me when I finished this book, Dee is fantastic at melting your heart and then crushing it into a thousand pieces the next. She's also totally magnificent at writing/creating the most amazing characters that you just love to pieces I swear every character in this book will have you rooting for them, even if it means a huge/massive crushing divide, I swear my book boyfriend love changes like the weather in these books Noah/Sawyer/Noah/Sawyer. These characters are totally all consuming once you start reading it's impossible to stop. Your heart will be bursting with joy and sadness throughout this book get ready for some emotional reading because this one definitely packs a punch. Seriously this book series is just fly by the seat of your pants awesome totally worth the risk trying Dee Kelly for the first time if you haven't read her books before Just an Illusion The A side was my first Dee Kelly book and I swear I haven't looked back she's fantastic this is definitely a steamy romance series to sink your teeth into. LOVED IT!!!!

I was anxious to get my hands on Just an Illusion- The B Side. It picks up right where The A Side left off. We find out what happens with Noah and Mel. The group takes some time off to regroup and for the holidays. They've all been through a horrific ordeal and need some time to recover and heal. Noah and Mel grow closer than ever. Poor Sawyer is so confused on his feelings for Mel and the love for his brother. This book was just as wonderful as the first. Action packed, angsty, sexy and emotional. I devoured it. I was torn with wanting to read as fast as possible to know what was going to happen next and wanting to go slow and prolong the journey. When it ended, I went back through and read some parts again. This story is so good. I can't wait fro book three, EP to come out. I'm ready for more BAD.

    Equally heartwarming and heartbreaking

What a wild ride! I'm sitting here devastated by the conclusion of part 2 of this amazing trilogy. The lives of the BAD family and friends are going to be turned upside down by another event beyond their control. We are once again left hanging to the edge of a cliff to find out what happened to our love birds while dying a little inside because we know everyone's lives will forever be changed by the loss that they will soon discover in EP. Make sure you have some tissues handy and maybe a bottle of wine to help ease your sorrow. D. Kelly continued creating a story and characters that you truly care about and want to root for. She also kept me confused about what I wanted to happen next. It's evident that Mel is happy with the love she chose, but there were lingering doubts in my mind sometimes. Don't get me wrong, I wanted her to be completely infatuated and in love with her man. And I'm pleased with how their relationship progressed through the months. However, I couldn't quite let go of the possibilities that might have existed with the other brother. I'm sure there are other readers that felt the same way, at least I hope there are. There's just something about me wanting everyone to find love. It's especially true in this instance where the men are twins and the three are living together in close quarters most of the time. The present day pages of these books are killing me! The author leaves us in constant flux, making us wonder what happened over those three years and to what and whom Mel needs to give an answer. I kept bouncing around with my assumptions and predictions for her future and what might have happened to get her and the man she loved to this place. I couldn't put the book down! I NEEDED to know what would happened next! As I said in my review of Side A, I'll leave it here so you can go on this journey without knowledge of Mel's choices or any clues as to what transpires along the way. For me, I loved every second of this book and all the unknowns. It only made Mel's and the twins' journey equally more heartwarming and heartbreaking. I hope you love it as much as I have so far.
