  • Enjoyable!

Just One Chance is the third book in The Kingston Family series and it was a great addition. Sasha and Xander met several years ago when she was first getting her start with her acting career. She was very impressionable back then and she had many people telling her what to do and she had a lot to learn and grow from. She and Xander definitely connected, but they weren't meant to be together at that point in time. Now a few years have passed and Sasha is going to be staring in the movie that is based on the novel that Xander has written. While Xander is anything but happy about the casting, he's managed to put his feelings aside to move the filming forward. And, when there is a threat to Sasha that makes itself known, Xander's protective instincts are on full display. Will these two get their second chance and a fairytale ending? I really enjoyed how both characters grew throughout the book. It was great to see how they formed a stronger bond and how they loved and respected one another.

  • Some major feels seasoned with a nice bite of real

I thought this was a really good read. Xander and Sasha deliver some major feels as their story unfolds. This book had a just right balance to the romance that really appealed to me. While most of us aren't famous actresses or well known writers, we all have to make challenging decisions about our relationships and what we want out of life. This taste of reality made this book easy to get into and the characters very relatable to me. I am posting a candid review of my own volition.

  • Great!

Xander and Sasha have a second chance at love when they end up having to work together. I was intrigued by Xander's story since he was first introduced and I was glad to see him get his story. Both The chemistry was palpable and they both go through a growth as they reconnect and realize what went wrong before. It was sweet, sexy, and scary at times with Sasha being in danger. Loved the family and everyone coming together.

  • Love this series

A great second chance love story, is what a needed. Getting to check in with the Kingston’s was great and getting to really get to know Xander and Sasha and you can’t help but root for them to realize that they both have changed and learned from their past. Also catching up with all the other Kingston’s and getting a glimpse of Dash and Cassidy and it made it even better. Carly Phillips never disappoints and always leaves you wanting more.

  • 4.5⭐ A delightful second chance romance

Just One Chance is a delightful second chance romance that will charm and thrill in equal measure. Thanks to two characters who are destined to be together but in the past let their ambitions and insecurities take over and tear them apart. But for Hollywood star Sasha Keaton a role in her ex's movie adaptation means a chance at redemption if only she can get former Marine turned writer Xander Kingston to talk to her. And plenty of heat, a little drama thanks to a stalker situation and lots of familial support this was an utterly enjoyable and hard to put down story and it's genuinely my favourite of the series so far. Would definitely recommend. **I was kindly provided with an ARC via BookSprout in exchange for an honest review**
