Holiday romance in a small town

An enjoyable contemporary romance, set in a small seaside town, Cinnamon and Nick are caught up in a mutual attraction with the eyes of the whole community watching every move. It's difficult enough navigating the gossip and plans being instigated by the well-meaning Friday Girls lunch club without Cinnamon knowing that her days in the small town are limited. Also, Nick is hiding behind a facade of “love 'em and leave 'em” so that no one finds out his secret. Whilst Cinnamon has the answers for the local economy due to her background, she has always aimed high and changing direction is difficult for her. Losing her heart to the local handyman definitely does not fit in with her chosen career path. I enjoyed the small town feel of this novel as well as the delightful characters, including Nick as the hero, although his shame regarding his disability was frustrating. Cinnamon, on the other hand, was so full of self-doubt and impossible aspirations, that I really felt frustrated with her at times. Nevertheless, the book ends on a positive note and comes to a happy conclusion. I received this book for free from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily post this review. This is my honest review.

An incredible book that should not be missed

Just the Way You Are is a remarkable romance novel written by the talented and well-accomplished author Ann Roth and wow, what a book! Romance is my go to read and a read I love to get lost in. Just the Way You Are is a romance tale, and the story that unfolds throughout the book is captivating and kept me hooked for hours! This is thanks to the well-developed plot and phenomenal literature courtesy of Ann Roth, whose literature is stunning and full of believable and likable characters. I have read many romance novels but never before have I been so captivated by a story as I have been with Just the Way You Are, and I felt this as soon as I started to read it as its stunning nature shines off the page and into the reader’s heart. Just the Way You Are is a book that is so much more than your typical romance novel thanks to the multiple themes explored by the exceptional author. The reader in Just the Way You Are will be introduced to the protagonist of the novel, Cinnamon Smith. Cinnamon Smith has just got out of a relationship, and it was a harrowing breakup, and so she is looking to start over and stays with her friend in Oregon in a place called Dunlin Shores. It is here however that Cinnamon meets Nick and when they do, an immediate connection is felt between them both, but Cinnamon is not looking for love. But as the two get to know each other better, they fall harder in love with each other, and this complicates matters, especially for Cinnamon. Why? Because Cinnamon gets her dream job offer that would take her away from Oregon. Will Cinnamon stay and go with her heart or go with her mind and take her dream job, read the incredible Just the Way You Are to find out! Just the Way You Are is a gem of a book that I needed to read. For so long I have read books that are quite oppressive so to read a novel that yes, features a few hard-hitting themes but tastefully and compellingly was refreshing! Besides the journey, the reader encounters is a mesmerizing one, and I loved following the protagonist of the novel on her journey. Just the Way You Are indeed was a heart-warming read, and the blossoming romance at the heart of it made me fall in love! Although know book lovers that Just the Way You Are is not all lovey-dovey; there are some hard-hitting themes and even thrilling themes that kept me reading for hours on end! Just the Way You Are is a multi-layered novel full of many exciting and lovely themes and all the themes explored throughout Just the Way You Are and these themes combined make the book a sensational story that is fascinating as well as captivating. Just the Way You Are is full of twists and turns galore, the book and the story that unravels is thrilling and will keep your hearts racing, and there are a few moments which will definitely evoke certain feelings in its readers. I love how the author kept me on edge constantly and made me feel a host of different emotions, Roth is an exceptional writer because she knows just how to captivate her readers and keep them engrossed from beginning to end. The author Ann Roth can only be described as a literary artisan. Ann Roth has wonderfully charmed me and has communicated the novel’s message to me soundly and perfectly. This is why I am in such awe of her, she is a creative genius and a visionary thinker that is also passionate and articulate and this, in my opinion, is a hard balance to find these days in the art of literature. Ann Roth is a talented wordsmith; her brilliant story combined with her flawless narration amazed me and had me turning the pages with haste. Roth’s sensational book is perfect and makes for a brisk, steady read that is full of twists and turns galore. I adore her plot device of twists and turns as they kept me intrigued and ensured that I never once got bored. Overall Just the Way You Are is a truly spectacular novel full of many beautiful moments and brilliant intrigue, and so I have no choice but to award this stellar book a dazzling five stars! It is a truly exceptional novel, and it would be a crime not to read it, so please read the preview below as I promise you will be captivated to read this exceptional story!

    A really nice romantic story.

Another author that I have not read b4, but it was well written & I greatly enjoyed reading the story. The way Nick & Cinnamon, are thinking about each other, & what they want from life & figure they are not good enough or the other is not what they planned for their lives. I like it when love wins out in the long run.
