    Third Time is the Charm

I loved this book. I liked that Calder was the smooth talking man that most books show. The fact that he talked past when he should have stopped and that he had no filter made him a very likable guy. when he comes into Hope and Billy's life is wonderful. That he felt an instant liking for them is why Susan writes the best books. Hope took a bit longer but she got with the program soon enough. It is a great book and now I can't wait for Quinn and John's book to come out.

JUSTICE FOR HOPE By Susan Stoker

This is my first Susan Stoker book and it will not me my last. I really enjoyed the story of Hope and Billy and how they went from living on the streets to finding kindness, trust and friendships. Calder is a kind of detective but he works with dead bodies and the clues that are left behind at the murder scene. This is where the two main characters meet each other Hope has just found the body of another homeless person that she knows from the streets. Calder wants to know what Hopes story is so he shows up at her work each day and gets to know her son Billy better . So follow this story to see how two people not looking for someone find each other. Really good story

    A FANTASTIC READ!!

This is one great story! Only Susan Stoker could take a Medical Examiner and make him such a loveable, wonderful character with so much feeling and depth! Caulder has been looking for Hope and her son Billy, since they have been living on the streets (to escape a dangerous ex-husband who is a cop). Caulder accidentally finds her at a crime scene and just knows that she is it for him. She is his other half. Buuuuuuuuuuut, he has a badge. A badge, that he shares with her son. We met Billy in Justice for Milena. He has been through a lot, and his troubles aren't over yet. Thanks to fate, Hope wins the lottery. Now that Hope has a great man, a smart wonderful son, and a winning lottery ticket, and is no longer living on the streets with her son, someone is out to get her. They abduct Billy and hold him for ransom. Can Hope, Caulder and the rest of their friends save Billy in time? Will Billy ever start talking again after all of the trauma he's gone through? Can Hope and Caulder live happily ever after? Get this book and enjoy a satisfying story, that keeps you on the edge of your seat! The baddie/abductor is hidden until the end. I never saw this reveal coming. Well done Susan Stoker!!

    As usual a great story.

Another interesting twisty plot, I love this group, and get so into the book, when it's done I want to know what's happening in their lives now.

    Hope in sight

No! Now I have to wait 2 1/2 months for Quinn's story. Every book in this series has been wonderful but this one especially because there was a child involved. Winning over Billy's heart has been as important to Calder as winning Hope's. I love that this is the end of a longer story arc that we saw develop through Sophie's story and Blythe's story. Having read all the books in the series over the last coupke of weeks I think I will have to go into Susan Stoker withdrawal or look into some of her other published series...
