  • Indiana Jones with a twist.

Andy McDermott just keeps getting better and better. Fast paced and full of breathtaking action, it was another of the Wilde/Chase adventures that I could not put down, right to the very last.

  • Kingdom of Darkness

Another rip roaring helter skelter mind challenge ride but a bit samey for Chase/Wilde fans. Well worth the read....

  • It Has To Be Said..........

I'm pretty certain I've done all of the Chade/Wilde adventures now and whilst enjoying them all in varying degrees, it has to be said that the forumla is getting more than a little tired. I recently read The Valhalla Prophecy and followed it soon after with Kingdom of Darkness. The plot line in Valhalla became the same plot line in Kingdom... and everything was so heavily 'Flagged' and predictable that it became unnecessary to finish the book. However, I did, but not before relaying the out come to a friend before reading further and then getting my predictions confirmed after the reading was completed. This is not why I read books. I want them to surprise and fool me. It's time for Nina and Eddie to unconditionally retire, grab some 'quality time' and swear on the forth coming child's life that what few remnants of earth's history remain shall be left intact and beyond the reach of tyrants and institutions alike. Thanks for your time.

  • Unnecessary

He swears a lot in this book, something that is really unnecessary, Clive Cussler writes excellent books without all the swearing and blasphemy, don’t need it to be a good writer.

  • Lays out the pretext for their journey of discovery good and bad

Excellent read basses on ancient and modern dictators. Showing evil and good do balance out . Rationality wins out in the end
