  • READ THIS BOOK

This book was by far one of the best I’ve ever read. The characters were amazing, the dialogues hilarious, the monologues awe-inspiring and the writing style simply brilliant. The plot flows smoothly and there was never a dull moment. I laughed, weeped and cheered along the way and I’ve probably never rooted this hard for a bunch of old, idiotic and ridiculous friends and their undead, thieving, glory-crazed, blind and bounty hunter companions. Dear Nicholas Eames, I thank you for the journey on which you’ve taken me, the hidden life lessons you’ve bestowed upon me and the many dozen characters you’ve made me mentally attached to.

    Thanks for your feedback!

  • Wow! Pace, action, fun. Move over Joe Abercrombie

Great read in the vein of Joe Abercrombie. I loved the little parallels with rock deities and especially the odd music pun chucked in. Syd (son of Barrett) for instance. Can't wait for more.

  • Good tongue in cheek ride.

Listened to the full audio as I read it. Enjoyed the narrator bringing the characters to life.
